According to data from the Information and Communication Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in May 2020, the construction of 5G network telecommunication base stations has exceeded 250,000, and it is expected that by the end of 2020, the number of base stations in China will reach about 650,000.

In the development of 5G, base stations go first. At present, the 5G base stations under construction in China are mainly macro base stations. Usually, its main components include iron towers, BBU (baseband processing unit), AAU (active antenna unit), optical fiber, base station cabinet, power supply, battery, Air conditioning, monitoring equipment, etc., among which the power supply equipment as one of the power supporting facilities, are the prerequisite guarantees for determining whether a base station can operate normally.

At this stage, distributed power sources are used as the source of power supply for 5G base stations, because after 5G large-scale communication terminals are allowed to access the network, resources such as distributed power sources and user-side energy storage can make the entire power system sound and stable. Adaptability and flexibility to optimize the normal operation of the power system.

Therefore, it can continue to research and develop to meet the new needs of 5G base station power supply systems, and improve reliability in terms of power density, specific energy, and intelligent battery management. An anti-theft device for a monitoring box based on 5G communication includes a processor and a monitoring unit, an alarm unit, a power supply module and a 5G communication module connected to the processor, respectively; the monitoring unit is used to monitor the working status of the monitoring box in real time and collect monitoring All kinds of electricity consumption data in the box, the alarm unit is used to issue an alarm when the data is abnormal, the power module supplies power to the anti-theft device, and the 5G communication module is used to upload the working data in the monitoring box in real time using a 5G network system. The monitoring data has low transmission delay and high rate, which meets the high requirements of real-time remote monitoring.

2.2.8 Battery: lead-acid battery and lithium battery for selection

Advantages of lead-acid batteries:

1. Good safety performance. Can continue to be used after patching.

2. The price is cheap. The price of lead-acid batteries is about 1/3 that of lithium batteries.

3. Recoverable and reverse repair. Lead-acid batteries are highly recyclable.

Disadvantages of lead-acid batteries

The weight is large, the battery capacity is limited, and the lifespan is short. Lead-acid batteries are generally within 400 times of deep charge and deep discharge, and the lifespan is about two years.

Advantages of lithium battery:

1: Light weight and small size. The volume of the lithium battery is 2/3 of the volume of the lead-acid battery, and the weight is about 1/3 of the weight of the lead-acid battery.

2: Long life. The average life of the lithium battery is about 4 years, which is about 1.5 times longer than that of the lead-acid battery. It is charged and discharged more than 500 times. The battery has no memory and has strong shock resistance.

3: Overcharge resistance, good charge and discharge resistance. Under normal temperature, the lithium battery can be charged continuously for 48 hours without any accidents such as battery expansion, leakage and rupture, and the capacity remains above 95%. And under the special charger, it can charge and discharge quickly.

Disadvantages of lithium batteries:

The production cost of lithium batteries is high, and the price is probably more expensive than lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries are not recyclable.

2.2.9 Application cases
