The main noise sources of diesel generator sets include mechanical noise, combustion noise, intake and exhaust noise, transmission noise of foundation vibration, cooling fan and exhaust noise, etc.

1. Add silencers to the intake passages of some units to reduce noise; set elbows if conditions permit, so that noise can be buffered in the passage to a certain extent;

2. Some units are equipped with silent chassis, which has obvious sound absorption and sound insulation effects;

3. According to the use requirements and working environment of the unit, it is equipped with a muffler of appropriate level. The smoke exhaust muffler can effectively reduce the noise of the unit;

4. Part of the unit is subjected to shock isolation treatment, using spring shock absorbers and shock absorbing rubber pads, which can effectively isolate the vibration on the surface of the unit, so as to achieve the effect of noise reduction;

5. Add louvers, air ducts and sound-absorbing baffles to some units, which has a significant sound absorption effect;

7. The use of flexible connections for the exhaust pipes of some units, air transportation, fuel pipes, coolant pipes and current transmission can also effectively reduce the transmission of vibration and reduce the noise transmitted in the air.
